North Greenwich to Greenwich

My favourite silos

Trinity Hospital almshouses, dating from 1613, is the oldest surviving Greenwich building (though largely rebuilt in 1812) and still in its original use'

 

The Royal Hospital founded in 1694, later became the Royal Naval College and is now used by Greenwich University and Trinity College of Music.

In the centre the Queens House and on the hill, the Royal Observatory

Looking north there is a different landscape, rather dull blocks enlivened by the red cranes
.
